gAIMgw is a gateway daemon, very loosely based on gzgw, that connects to AOL's Instant Messenger service on behalf of predefined Gale users and forwards messages between the two systems. Presence messages are also forwarded both directions.

The lastest version of gAIMgw is 0.2.0, released on 2000-06-22.
I wasn't planning to release this, but Dan Egnor thought it would be a good idea. For the most part, I don't plan on spending large amounts of time on gAIMgw, although I will release maintenance fixes. If anybody else has a serious interest in taking over this package, please send me an email.
