Return to the Baltimore Aquarium
March 1, 2003

The Aquarium is a popular favorite for several people at APL, it seems, and we decided to head over there for another visit. In attendance were several RGN'ers (Recent Graduates Network).

We first stopped by the dolphin show, where the dolphins cavorted for our entertainment. The second picture shows a dolphin leaping high out of the water to touch a suspended ball. The final picture is, believe it or not, a dolphin walking on water.

Next, we wandered through various fish displays. I had captured many of them on my previous visit, but I was sure to get several anemone shots, for Bill's benefit.

I also took some fish shots. Here are some of the brightly colored fish, plus a very cool spotted ray.

Josh had this funny thing stuck to him. We waited to see how long it would take for him to notice. A pretty long time, apparently.

Next was a visit to the awesome exhibit showing (1) seadragons, (2) seahorses, and (3) kelp dragons.

Outside, I took more photos of humans.

Kate #2 and Emily learn how to raise seahorses. This guy (not one of our party)
is about to become fish food.
Josh, Emily, and Kate #2 being silly. Bill wanted this penguin shot.
Okay, so it's not a human.

Then we headed upstairs to the rainforest area, which was closed on my previous visit. Wow! Exercise for the day: sort the following creatures in order of how deadly they are.

Crocodile Poison dart frog Bird Big green snake Huge spider
