This weekend, I entertained Trey Smith, from CMU, Iain Keddie, from IBM, and the lovely Elizabeth Santoro, from the American Trial Lawyers Association. We had a fantastic time visiting the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore, including the National Aquarium, on what turned out to be $1 admission day.
Various fish that caught my eye:

There were some humans present, as well:

The sea horses and sea dragons were incredible. Sadly, my photos can't do them justice - it was dark, and the little guys kept moving around. I'd never seen anything like the sea dragons before - richly multi-colored, in reds, purples, blues, and yellow, they really do look like miniature dragons.

We also saw these incredibly exotic kelp dragons (I'm not sure that's their correct name), which are like sea dragons, but adapted for camouflage in kelp forests. They truly have to be seen to be believed. The first picture is of a display at the Aquarium, which has the nice feature of being in focus, as the subject isn't constantly swimming around. The other two shots are the best of my multiple attempts to capture the live ones.
